Haryana Roadways Protests Against College Wali Chhori Song

Hisar: A major controversy has erupted in Haryana over the recently released Haryanvi song ‘College Wali Chhori Set Conductor Ke’. The Haryana Roadways Joint Front has demanded that the song be removed from social media platforms or that its lyrics be revised.

Employee unions claim the song portrays bus conductors and female students in a misleading and objectionable manner. According to union leaders, the lyrics damage the reputation of government employees and create a negative public perception.

Roadways workers have also expressed dissatisfaction with the police response, alleging that no meaningful action has been taken despite formal complaints. Employee organizations are now preparing to file complaints in multiple districts and intensify their protest campaign.

Responding to the criticism, Haryanvi artist Naveen Naru defended the song and said it contains nothing illegal or obscene. He stated that significant resources were invested in the project and questioned why only his song was being targeted while other controversial tracks continue to circulate freely.

The Haryana State Commission for Women has stated that it has not yet received any official complaint regarding the song. Officials said the matter would be reviewed if a formal complaint is submitted.

Meanwhile, the song continues to gain traction on social media, with students and users creating reels and videos, further fueling the controversy.
